Contractor Discount

All contractors and the buyers they refer will automatically receive a discount off manufacturer list prices. These savings are also offered on special order items. Talk to one of our sales representatives for more details on pricing.

Order Delivery

Southern Lights will deliver your client's lighting in our vehicle to ensure safe arrival. This service is available to our account-holders to any location in the metro and is provided free of charge.

To streamline installation for your electrician Southern Lights identifies each light with: customer name, room, and quantity and type of bulbs required.

Back Orders

If the customer selects a back-ordered item, your electrician can install a porcelain for closing. When the back-ordered fixture arrives, we make arrangements with the customer.

Special Requests

We work hard to honor the special requests of our customers, such as:

• Recessed Lighting and Door Chimes are also available from Southern Lights.
• Billing of the entire order can be sent directly to your company.
• If the customer's selections exceed the lighting allowance, Southern Lights can collect the overage charge from the home buyer at your request.
• Layout Assistance can be provided by our lighting consultants.

As an extended service, your discount continues even after your initial order - for any additional fixtures that you may wish to add later.

Selection

Our lighting consultants can work with your blueprints or electrical plans to help you outfit your home. Our conveniently located showroom offers over 8,000 fixtures on display and an expert staff to make the selection process easy and enjoyable.

Total Satisfaction Assurance

If you are not satisfied with a fixture for any reason, we will exchange it for a new selection within 30 days of your closing date.

Lighting Allowance Overage

If your selections exceed your lighting allowance and your contractor requires Southern Lights to collect the overage, this amount is due when your order is placed.

Delivery, Installation and Service

If your builder has an account with us, delivery of your lights is provided free. All lights are installed by your contractor and they are best able to address any installation problems. However, if there is a defect with a Southern Lights fixture we will remedy the problem for you.

Future Orders

For easy additions to your home lighting decor, Southern Lights will keep your initial order on file. Our records will also be helpful if glass or part replacement becomes necessary. Again, your discount will remain in effect even after your closing - we look forward to lighting your home for years to come.

Retail Customers

Southern Lights welcomes everyone to enjoy our 25,000 square foot showroom. You will find an exciting atmosphere filled with constantly-changing displays of lighting, ceiling fans, lamps, decorative prints, florals, sculptures and many other surprises.
