Southern Lights Wins ARTS Award for Lighting Showroom of the Year
We're excited to announce that Southern Lights has received the 23rd Annual ARTS Award for Lighting Showroom of the Year 2012 for the Midwest/Southwest region! The ARTS Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the decorative lighting industry and recognizes excellence from retailers, manufacturers, sales representatives and designers.
Announced on January 21 during an awards ceremony gala event at the end of the Dallas International Lighting Market, the ARTS Award was accepted by Craig Motz, Owner of Southern Lights.
As part of the judging process, Southern Lights 
submitted a custom binder detailing its history, company philosophy and advertising campaigns. Also included in the presentation binder were photos of some of the carefully arranged lighting and home accessory vignettes from our stunning 25,000 square foot showroom located in Burnsville, MN.
The year-long ARTS Awards judging process runs from February through January each year. This includes the naming of an independent judging panel in February, nominations which run from March through June, the announcement of finalists in each of 26 categories in August, submission of presentations in November and finally the awards gala in January.
